IMITOS MoiSti 7021/SV IP68 Outdoor LED Spotlight MR16
The IMITOS MoiSti 7021/SV is a premium IP68-rated outdoor LED spotlight fitting designed for extreme weather resistance. Crafted from high-grade Steel 204, it supports MR16 holders, making it the ideal choice for Malaysian gardens, water features, and architectural lighting where durability against humidity and submersion is non-negotiable.
Full Description:
When it comes to outdoor illumination in Malaysia’s tropical climate, standard lighting often fails due to moisture ingress and corrosion. The IMITOS MoiSti LED Outdoor Spotlight Fitting (Model 7021/SV) is engineered specifically to combat these challenges. By utilizing a robust Steel 204 casing and achieving the highest level of waterproofing (IP68), this fitting ensures that your landscape lighting remains functional even under temporary submersion or heavy monsoon downpours.
Engineering & Material Excellence
The choice of Steel 204 for the 7021/SV model is strategic. It provides a sleek, silver finish that complements modern Malaysian architecture—from luxury bungalows in Bangsar to commercial landscapes in KLCC—while offering the structural integrity needed to withstand outdoor debris and thermal expansion.
Technical Versatility with MR16
Designed with an MR16 holder, this fitting offers maximum flexibility for lighting designers and homeowners. Whether you require a warm 3000K glow for a cozy patio or a cool 6000K beam for security and clarity, you can easily swap in the MR16 LED bulb of your choice. This "fitting-only" approach allows for easier maintenance and future-proofing as LED technology continues to evolve.
Why IP68 Matters in Malaysia
While many outdoor lights are rated IP65 (dust-tight and water-jet resistant), the IP68 rating of the IMITOS MoiSti series means it is protected against long-term immersion. This makes it suitable for:

Why IP68 Matters in Malaysia
While many outdoor lights are rated IP65 (dust-tight and water-jet resistant), the IP68 rating of the IMITOS MoiSti series means it is protected against long-term immersion. This makes it suitable for:
-
Water Features: Safe for use near ponds, fountains, and infinity pool perimeters.
-
Ground Burial: Prevents failure caused by water pooling in soil during heavy rain.
-
High Humidity: Resists internal condensation that typically shorts out cheaper alternatives.
Key Installation Benefits
- Corrosion Resistance: The Steel 204 body prevents the "rust-staining" often seen on cheaper alloy fittings.
- Precision Optics: Compatible with various MR16 beam angles to highlight specific architectural details.
- Minimalist Aesthetic: The silver (SV) finish provides a professional, high-end look that disappears into the landscape during the day and shines at night.
