Unlike edge-lit alternatives that can fade over time, the BSLight features advanced backlit LED technology. This design positions the premium LED chips directly behind the diffuser, ensuring completely uniform light distribution with zero dark spots or yellowing. Operating on standard Malaysian input voltage (AC185-265V 50/60Hz), it pushes out a staggering 5040 lumens using only 48W of electricity. Enjoy up to 60% savings on your monthly TNB electricity bills without sacrificing brightness.

Q1:Is the BSLight 48W LED Panel Light approved by SIRIM Malaysia?
A:Yes, the BSLight Backlit LED Panel Light (BSBL2248BL/ECO) is fully SIRIM-approved. This ensures it meets Malaysia's national safety, quality, and performance standards for commercial and residential buildings.

Q2: What are the exact dimensions of a 600x600 LED panel light?
A:The physical size of this model is 600mm (Length) × 600mm (Width) × 35mm (Height). It is universally referred to in Malaysia as a 2x2 feet ceiling light, ideal for standard office grid ceilings.

Q3: What does "Backlit" mean for this BSLight LED Panel?
A:Backlit means the LED chips are distributed evenly behind the front cover rather than along the sides. This ensures higher lumen output, better energy efficiency, and prevents the "yellowing center" common in older edge-lit panels.

Q4: How bright is a 48W LED panel light in terms of lumens?
A:The BSLight 48W ECO series delivers 5040 lumens (lm). This yields an impressive luminous efficacy of 105lm/W, offering intense brightness while using very little electricity.

Q5: What is the best color temperature for an office ceiling light in Malaysia?
A:A 6500K Daylight color temperature is highly recommended for office spaces. The crisp white light improves focus, minimizes eye fatigue, and maintains a highly productive working atmosphere.

Q6: Can this IP20-rated LED panel light be installed in a bathroom?
A:An IP20 rating means the fixture is protected against solid objects up to 12mm but is not waterproof. It is ideal for dry indoor areas like offices, living rooms, and bedrooms, but should not be installed in high-moisture bathrooms.

Q7: How much electricity can I save by switching to a BSLight 48W LED panel?
A: This 48W LED panel effortlessly replaces traditional 3x18W or 4x18W fluorescent tube fittings (which pull up to 72W–80W including ballasts), slashing your lighting energy consumption by roughly 40% to 50%.

Q8: What is the lifespan of the BSLight ECO Series Panel Light?
A: It features a rated lifespan of 35,000 hours. If operated for 9 hours a day in a typical office setting, this panel light will last for over 10 years without requiring replacements.

Q9: What voltage range does this LED panel light support?
A:It supports an input voltage of AC185-265V at 50/60Hz, making it fully compatible and resilient against minor voltage fluctuations in the Malaysian national grid.

Q10: What is the significance of a CRI >80 rating for commercial spaces?
A:A Color Rendering Index (CRI) over 80 ensures that colors under the light look natural and vibrant. This is essential for retail stores, offices, and homes where accurate color perception is needed.
