Full Description:
Commercial-Grade Outdoor Illumination for Malaysian Climates
Upgrading exterior illumination in tropical regions demands luminaires built to withstand heavy monsoon downpours, high relative humidity, and intense thermal heat. The PMW LED Landscape Light GL1030 Series (Model: GL1030030 / Product Code: 01.GL1030030.00) meets the rigorous electrical, structural, and photometric demands of modern landscape architecture in Malaysia. Designed to replace power-hungry traditional halogen spotlights, this 30W fixture delivers an impressive 2,681 lumens, balancing high optical performance with long-term energy savings.Premium Components: Lumileds 3030 LEDs & Inventronics Driver
At the core of the PMW GL1030030 is an array of premium Lumileds 3030 LED chips. Recognized globally for high luminous efficacy and low thermal resistance, Lumileds LEDs prevent the rapid lumen degradation common in budget landscape lights, maintaining clear visual brightness throughout the luminaire's operational lifespan. Powering this LED engine is an industry-leading Inventronics Driver backed by a 5-year lifetime rating. Known for high power factor correction, voltage surge resilience, and stable current delivery, the Inventronics driver protects the light engine against electrical grid fluctuations. This significantly reduces maintenance intervals and total cost of ownership for property developers, facility managers, and electrical contractors.Tropical Weather Resilience: IP65 Weatherproof Protection
Exterior lighting installed across Peninsular and East Malaysia must handle extreme ambient moisture without internal degradation. The GL1030030 carries an official IP65 Ingress Protection rating:- Dust Protection (6): Complete sealing against dust particles, sand, and airborne debris.
- Water Resistance (5): Fully protected against low-to-high pressure water jets from any direction.
The weather-resistant housing ensures that torrential monsoon rains cannot penetrate the internal optical and driver compartments, eliminating short-circuiting and lens condensation risks.
Wide 90° Optics & Universal Electrical Specs
Featuring a wide 90° beam angle, the PMW GL1030030 casts uniform light distribution across broad outdoor surfaces. It is ideal for illuminating building facades, tree foliage, perimeter walls, and wide pedestrian walkways without hot-spot glare or light spill. Operating across a universal 110–240V AC (50Hz) voltage input range, the GL1030030 integrates smoothly into standard Malaysian power infrastructure. It is rated as a Class I electrical appliance, featuring a dedicated protective ground wire to safely bypass accidental current leaks, ensuring peace of mind in high-footprint public and residential areas.Key Commercial & Residential Applications
- Architectural Facade Lighting: Highlighting columns, exterior walls, and entrance portals.
- Commercial & Resort Grounds: Hotel walkways, alfresco dining areas, and private courtyards.
- Municipal & Infrastructure: Public park pathways, plazas, and township green spaces.
- Residential Compounds: Perimeter walls, gate pillars, and private garden landscapes.
