PMW Weatherproof LED Batten Light 36W (DUY17-36W)
The PMW DUROLED Y17 Series 36W LED Weatherproof Batten Light (DUY17-36W) is an industrial-grade, energy-efficient linear luminaire engineered to withstand harsh environments across Malaysia. Delivering a high light output of 4,680 lumens, an IP66 ingress protection rating, an IK08 impact resistance build, and a 50,000-hour lifespan, this fixture provides long-term illumination for commercial car parks, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and outdoor utility areas. Featuring adjustable CCT options (2700K–5700K) and available in two distinct physical profile dimensions (Series A and Series B), the PMW DUY17-36W combines robust weatherproofing with tailored design flexibility for electrical contractors and facility managers.
Full Description:
High-Efficacy Illumination and CCT Flexibility
Operating at a rated wattage of 36W, the PMW DUY17-36W produces 4,680 lumens, delivering a luminous efficacy of 130 lm/W. This level of efficiency reduces power consumption compared to traditional fluorescent fittings while providing bright, uniform visibility across wide spaces. The fitting features a dynamic correlated color temperature (CCT) range from 2700K (Warm White) to 5700K (Daylight), enabling users to select the optimal color tone for specific visual requirements—whether warmer light for architectural accenting or crisp daylight tones for precision assembly lines and commercial storage facilities.Heavy-Duty Ingress and Impact Protection
Designed for challenging outdoor and high-humidity indoor settings, the DUROLED Y17 series holds an IP66 rating, certifying total protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets from any direction. This seal guards internal components against heavy tropical rainfall, jet wash downs, and high-dust environments. Combined with an IK08 impact resistance rating, the durable housing protects against accidental physical impacts, mechanical vibrations, and moderate vandalism, making it suitable for low-ceiling commercial car parks, public walkways, loading bays, and industrial processing plants.Optimized Physical Profiles (Series A & Series B)
To suit diverse mounting constraints and ceiling architectures, the DUY17-36W light comes in two distinct structural design configurations:- Series A (Product Code: 01.DUY1736.1291.00): Features dimensions of 1207mm (L) × 91mm (W) × 78mm (H), offering a streamlined, standard profile for narrow ceiling channels and linear wall mounting.
- Series B (Product Code: 01.DUY1736.12116.00): Features dimensions of 1207mm (L) × 116mm (W) × 74mm (H), providing a wider footprint and lower-profile height for shallow clearance installations.
Both variants maintain a standard 4-foot length (1207mm), allowing straightforward surface-mounted or suspended installation without major structural modifications.
Thermal Resilience and Long Lifespan
Engineered with an operating temperature tolerance ranging from -15°C to +35°C, the PMW DUY17-36W maintains stable thermal management in tropical environments. By minimizing internal heat accumulation, the fixture reduces LED component degradation, achieving a service lifespan of 50,000 hours. This extended durability decreases maintenance overhead, tube replacements, and facility downtime in continuous-use commercial operations.
