Available in standard Imperial (01.LUTIN2.320T8.00) and Metric (01.LUTMN2.320T8.00) dimensional configurations, the LU320T8 delivers uniform light distribution, minimal glare, and seamless architectural integration for suspended ceiling systems.
Full Description:
Product Overview & Architectural Integration
Designed for modern commercial installations, the PMW LUXIAN Series LU320T8 T-Bar Troffer Light brings reliable, shadow-free illumination to professional indoor spaces. Recessed lighting in modern offices and commercial facilities requires strict adherence to ceiling grid dimensions. The LU320T8 series solves installation compatibility challenges by providing dedicated options for both Imperial grid systems (600mm x 605mm) and Metric grid systems (585mm x 595mm).Engineered with a low-profile height of 85mm and an overall fixture length of 612mm, the PMW LUXIAN Series troffer fits smoothly into tight ceiling plenums without interfering with ducting or structural support components. The three-tube configuration optimizes total lumen output per square meter, making it the ideal choice for open-plan offices, healthcare corridors, educational institutes, and cleanroom areas requiring higher lux levels.
Build Quality, Optical Performance, and IP44 Protection
In humid tropical environments like Malaysia, standard indoor light fixtures often suffer from internal dust accumulation and insect ingress. The PMW LUXIAN LU320T8 addresses this issue with an IP44 ingress protection rating. This level of sealed protection ensures the internal housing resists splash water and solid foreign objects larger than 1mm, preventing dust accumulation on the reflector and maintaining optical clarity over time. The fixture housing is crafted from durable, powder-coated sheet metal designed to reflect light efficiently while preventing yellowing or degradation over long-term operation. The optical reflector is contoured to spread light evenly across work surfaces, reducing harsh glare and visual fatigue for building occupants.Dimensional Specifications & Model Variants
To ensure seamless integration during commercial fit-outs, the PMW LUXIAN Series LU320T8 is manufactured in two primary layout configurations:- Imperial Standard Configuration:

- Length (L): 612mm | Grid Length (L1): 600mm
- Width (W): 605mm | Height (H): 85mm
- Tube Capacity: 3 x T8 LED Tubes
- Metric Standard Configuration:
- Product Code: 01.LUTMN2.320T8.00
- Length (L): 612mm | Grid Length (L1): 585mm
- Width (W): 595mm | Height (H): 85mm
- Tube Capacity: 3 x T8 LED Tubes
Key Benefits for Facility Managers & Electrical Contractors
-
Flexible Sizing Options: Direct compatibility with both Imperial and Metric T-Bar suspended grid ceilings eliminates manual ceiling tile adjustments during installation.
-
IP44 Rated Durability: Protection against dust intrusion and moisture splash makes it suitable for office spaces, pantries, corridors, and semi-clean commercial zones.
- Standard T8 Tube Compatibility: Uses standard T8 LED tubes, simplifying future lamp replacements and long-term facility maintenance without requiring full fixture replacement.
- Optimized Low-Profile Design: At just 85mm in height, it maximizes vertical clearance in tight ceiling spaces.
- Uniform Light Coverage: The triple-tube arrangement provides broad area lighting, reducing the total fixture count required in large spaces.

Q1: What is the PMW LUXIAN LU320T8 LED Troffer Light used for?
A: The PMW LUXIAN LU320T8 is a recessed 3-tube T-bar ceiling light fixture designed for commercial offices, schools, hospitals, retail stores, and industrial facilities with grid ceilings.
Q2: What is the difference between Imperial and Metric versions of the PMW LU320T8?
A: The Imperial version (Product Code: 01.LUTIN2.320T8.00) measures 600mm L1 x 605mm W, while the Metric version (Product Code: 01.LUTMN2.320T8.00) measures 585mm L1 x 595mm W to fit different suspended ceiling grid standards in Malaysia.
Q3: What does the IP44 rating mean for the PMW LU320T8 Troffer Light?
A: An IP44 rating means the light fixture is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm (like dust and insects) and water splashes from any direction, making it more durable than standard indoor troffers.
Q4: What are the dimensions of the PMW LUXIAN LU320T8 LED Troffer Light?
A: The fixture length is 612mm and the height is 85mm. Depending on the model, the width is 605mm (Imperial) or 595mm (Metric), and grid length L1 is 600mm (Imperial) or 585mm (Metric).
Q5: Is the PMW LUXIAN LU320T8 suitable for office ceiling grids in Malaysia?
A: Yes, it is designed specifically for standard T-bar grid ceiling systems commonly installed in commercial and corporate offices across Malaysia.
Q6: Why choose a 3-tube T-bar troffer light instead of a 2-tube fixture?
A: A 3-tube troffer fixture like the LU320T8 provides higher total light output (lux), reducing dark spots in larger office spaces or rooms requiring brighter illumination.
Q7: Are LED tubes included with the PMW LUXIAN LU320T8 housing?
A: The LU320T8 is the troffer housing fitting designed for three T8 LED tubes, allowing buyers to select their preferred LED tube wattage and color temperature (3000K, 4000K, or 6500K).
