Transform Your Interiors with Schneider Unica X Elegance
Lighting controls are no longer just functional necessities—they are integral components of modern interior architecture. The Schneider Unica X Series 16AX 250V 2 Gang 1 Way Switch (NUX32_1_DG) brings a subtle, contemporary sophistication to any wall. Designed specifically for homeowners, interior designers, and electrical contractors across Malaysia, this switch seamlessly integrates into minimalist, industrial, and luxury Scandinavian-inspired designs. The dark grey tone offers an understated alternative to traditional white plastic switches, providing an elevated accent that resists visible smudges and daily wear. Crafted with a premium stainless steel body plate, the Unica X collection delivers a tactile, high-end feel every time you control your lighting.
Heavy-Duty Performance: 16AX Rating for Modern LED Lighting
Modern lighting setups rely heavily on LED drivers and electronic ballasts, which can produce high initial inrush currents. Standard 10A switches often fail or weld closed over time under these conditions. The Schneider Unica X NUX32_1_DG is built with a 16AX rating, meaning it is specially tested to handle inductive and fluorescent lighting loads safely. Operating on Malaysia's standard 250V AC supply at 50/60Hz, this switch ensures smooth current delivery across two separate single-pole circuits without flickering or internal arcing. Whether controlling ambient recessed downlights, statement ceiling pendants, or architectural wall sconces, the Unica X delivers reliable performance every day.
Dual Control Convenience: 2 Gang 1 Way Functionality
Efficiency meets simplicity. The 2-gang configuration houses two independent rockers on a single standard wall plate, allowing you to manage two separate lighting zones from one central location.
- 1-Way Operation: Best suited for standard single-location switching setups—such as turning on the living room main lights and cove lights independently from the main entryway switch point.
- Ergonomic Rockers: Engineered with defined detents, each rocker provides crisp, positive tactile feedback that prevents accidental half-throws or loose switching.
Certified Safety Standards & Quality Construction
Safety and compliance are paramount when selecting electrical wiring devices in Malaysia. The Schneider Unica X 2 Gang 1 Way Switch adheres to international quality standards:
- IEC 60669-1 Compliance: Fully tested and certified under international standards for switches for household and similar fixed electrical installations.
- IP20 Protection Rating: Safeguards internal electromechanical components against solid objects, ensuring safe indoor operation in dry residential and office spaces.
- Durable Electromechanical Build: Constructed with premium-grade flame-retardant thermoplastics and reinforced stainless steel plates, guaranteeing superior structural integrity and fire safety over decades of use.
