Full Description:
Architectural Aesthetics Meets Modern Functionality
The Schneider Electric UnicaX Series represents the gold standard in premium electrical fittings, catering to interior designers, electrical contractors, homeowners, and commercial facility managers across Malaysia. Standard white plastic sockets often compromise the visual cohesion of luxury walls, dark wood paneling, or exposed concrete finishes. The NUX15N_DG features an ultra-slim dark grey finish crafted with a metallic stainless steel plate, bringing sleek minimalism to master bedrooms, modern kitchens, hotel suites, executive boardrooms, and commercial spaces.
Heavy-Duty Construction & Material Excellence
Unlike traditional polycarbonate switch plates that discolour, scratch, or degrade under frequent UV exposure and physical contact, the Schneider Unica X NUX15N_DG is manufactured using industrial-grade Stainless Steel. This resilient metal surface ensures superior durability against daily wear, impacts, and cleaning solvents. Rated at IP20 ingress protection, it keeps internal mechanical and electrical components safe from dust intrusion and accidental physical contact.
Integrated Soft-Glow LED Indicator
Navigating power outlets in low-light environments can be inconvenient. The NUX15N_DG model incorporates an integrated LED local signaling light. The subtle indicator light offers soft visibility in dark rooms without causing disruptive light spill—making it ideal for nightstands, bedside tables, media console units, and dark corridors. It provides instant visual feedback to verify that power is actively flowing through the circuit.
Certified Electrical Safety & Compliance
Safety is non-negotiable in electrical installations. The Schneider UnicaX 1-Gang Switch Socket Outlet is engineered and rigorously tested to meet stringent international and Malaysian safety protocols:
- BS 1363 Standard: Fully compatible with standard 3-pin fused British plugs used across Malaysia, Singapore, and the UK, preventing internal arcing and loose connections.
- IEC 60884 Standard: Certified for global fixed household electrical installation performance and insulation standards.
- Electrical Capacity: Built for 13A rated current and 250V AC operational voltage at 50 Hz network frequency, allowing safe operation for domestic electronics, home entertainment setups, computers, and kitchen appliances.
Hassle-Free Flush Mount Installation
Designed for seamless installation, the Schneider NUX15N_DG supports standard flush mounting into standard concealed back boxes. Its structured terminal layout allows electrical contractors and wiremen to terminate cables quickly and securely, cutting down installation time in both new property developments and renovation projects.
