Uncompromising Safety & Quality Standards
When it comes to building wiring, safety is paramount. Schneider Electric manufactures the Unica X series to strict international standards:
- BS 1363 Compliance: Meets the standard specification for 13A switched socket outlets, ensuring compatibility with standard 3-pin British plugs commonly used across Malaysia, Singapore, and the UK.
- IEC 60884 Standard: Built to international requirements for plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes.
- IP20 Protection Rating: Built with safety shutters to prevent accidental contact, protecting children and users from exposed electrical contacts in indoor environments.
Durable Stainless Steel Construction in Dark Grey Finish
Unlike standard plastic sockets that yellow, crack, or scratch over time, the Unica X Dark Grey plate is built on a robust stainless steel base. The refined dark metal texture resists fingerprint smudges, everyday wear, and discoloration, ensuring your interior wall fittings retain their premium appearance for years.
