Full Description:
Modern Aesthetics & Superior Build Quality
Upgrade your interior spaces with the Schneider UnicaX Series 13A 250V Twin Gang Double Pole Switch Socket Outlet with LED Indicator in Stainless Steel (Model: NUXT25DN_SS). Engineered by Schneider Electric, the Unica X range represents the pinnacle of contemporary wiring accessories. Featuring an ultra-slim flush-fit plate and a sophisticated metallic stainless steel finish, this switch socket eliminates bulky wall protrusions, delivering a seamless aesthetic for modern homes, luxury condominiums, commercial offices, and high-end hospitality projects in Malaysia.
Enhanced Safety with Double Pole Switching
When it comes to electrical infrastructure, safety is non-negotiable. The Schneider UnicaX NUXT25DN_SS features Double Pole (2P) switching architecture. Unlike standard single-pole switches that only break the live wire, a double-pole mechanism simultaneously disconnects both Live and Neutral electrical connections upon switching off. This provides complete isolation from the 250V power supply, significantly reducing the risk of electrical shock, residual current leakage, and damage to connected home appliances such as audio-visual systems, kitchen gadgets, and computer hardware.
Integrated LED Indicator for Ease of Use
Designed with everyday user convenience in mind, this 2-gang switched outlet comes equipped with built-in LED indicators. The subtle LED light provides immediate visual confirmation of active power status, making it effortless to locate switches in dark rooms, corridors, or home theaters. The LED element is engineered for long-life operational efficiency, drawing minimal standby power while providing clear visibility.
Standard Malaysian Compatibility & Technical Excellence
Specially designed for standard British standard installations used across Malaysia, the NUXT25DN_SS operates reliably on standard 250V AC network frequencies at 50Hz.
- Dual Gang Capacity: Supports two standard British 3-pin plugs simultaneously without overcrowding or spatial obstruction.
- IP20 Protection Rating: Ingress protection level certified against solid objects larger than 12.5mm, ensuring safe operation in dry indoor environments such as bedrooms, living rooms, and office suites.
- Rigorous International Certification: Fully tested and compliant with BS 1363 (British Standard for 13A switched socket outlets) and IEC 60884 (International electrotechnical standard for plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes).
Applications & Ideal Use Cases
Whether undertaking a new residential build, a interior design renovation, or replacing worn-out standard white plastic switch sockets, the Schneider Unica X Stainless Steel Double Socket adds instant value and style. Its corrosion-resistant metal finish resists smudges and wear over time, making it suitable for high-traffic environments, executive boardroom setups, modern kitchens, and master bedrooms where premium finishes matter.
