Modern interior design demands electrical fittings that match premium architecture. The Schneider Electric Unica X Series 13A Twin Gang Switch Socket Outlet (NUXT25DN_JB) brings an ultra-slim, ultra-luxurious aesthetic to contemporary Malaysian homes, condominiums, commercial offices, and boutique spaces. Crafted with a high-grade Jet Black stainless steel finish, this double gang socket transitions standard wall outlets into refined architectural features. Whether you are renovating a modern minimalism living space, specifying high-end fittings for a commercial fit-out, or upgrading your home’s electrical switches, the Schneider Unica X range offers an unmatched fusion of visual sophistication, tactile quality, and lasting durability.
Twin Gang Convenience with Dual-Pole Electrical Safety
The Unica X NUXT25DN_JB model features a 13A, 250V AC twin gang configuration (2 sockets) with integrated Double Pole (2P) switching mechanisms. Unlike standard single-pole sockets that only disconnect the live wire, double-pole switches isolate both the Live and Neutral conductors simultaneously. This significantly reduces electrical leakage risks, offers enhanced surge and shock protection, and ensures total safety when powering sensitive electronics, modern kitchen appliances, entertainment systems, and home office workstations.
Subtle Integrated LED Indicator Lights
Designed for effortless convenience, each switch on the Schneider NUXT25DN_JB features an integrated soft-glow LED indicator light. The discrete LED allows users to identify operational status instantly at a glance, even in dim hallways, bedrooms, or dark office setups. The lighting provides functional clarity without creating distracting glare or disruptively high brightness at night.
Built to Malaysian & International Standards (BS 1363 & SIRIM Compliant)
Safety and compliance are non-negotiable for electrical installations in Malaysia. The Schneider Unica X 13A Socket strictly complies with international safety standard BS 1363 (British Standard for 13A switched sockets) and IEC 60884 (Plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes). Engineered for 50 Hz AC electrical networks standard across Malaysia, it accepts standard 3-pin fused plugs with solid terminal engagement and reliable contact tension over thousands of insertion cycles.
Durable Metallic Construction & Easy Flush Mount Installation
Built using premium stainless steel front plates and robust housing materials, the Jet Black Unica X socket resists fingerprint smudges, surface corrosion, wear, and discoloration over prolonged use. It carries an IP20 protection rating, preventing access to internal live parts by solid objects larger than 12mm. Designed for universal flush-mount installation, it fits standard wall back-boxes effortlessly, allowing licensed wiremen, interior contractors, and electrical installers to fit units quickly without structural modifications.
