Schneider Unica X 45W USB Charger A+C SS

Full Description:

In modern residential and commercial interior design, power outlets must balance industrial-grade performance with seamless visual design. The Schneider Unica X Series 2 Port USB Charger A+C 45W (NUX32ACQUSB_SS) represents Schneider Electric's flagship engineering in flush-mounted architectural wiring devices. Designed specifically for contemporary Malaysian property developments, high-end renovations, and modern office fit-outs, this dual-port charger transforms standard wall points into high-power charging hubs without requiring bulky, unsightly external wall plugs or power strips.Featuring a brushed Stainless Steel faceplate finish, the NUX32ACQUSB_SS seamlessly matches minimalist, modern, industrial, and transitional interior aesthetics. Its metallic luster provides a durable, smudge-resistant finish that complements existing metallic switches, contemporary kitchen appliances, modern office furniture, and luxury interior hardware.

Dual-Port Versatility: USB Type-A & Type-C fast Charging

The modern electronic device ecosystem is in the middle of a global transition. While legacy smartphones, power banks, and accessories still rely heavily on traditional USB Type-A connections, modern flagship smartphones, ultrabooks, iPads, and high-performance laptops mandate high-wattage USB Type-C Power Delivery (PD).The Schneider Unica X addresses this hybrid demand by offering both USB Type-A and Type-C ports in a single, compact flush module:

• USB Type-C (Up to 45W PD): Delivers up to 45W of direct power, capable of fast-charging modern smartphones, tablets, handheld gaming consoles, and lightweight laptops (such as Apple MacBook Air and USB-C powered ultrabooks) directly from the wall socket without needing a dedicated laptop power brick.
• USB Type-A: Provides reliable standard fast-charging for legacy devices, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, e-readers, and household smart peripherals.
• Smart Power Distribution: When both ports are used simultaneously, internal intelligent chipsets dynamically distribute power safely across both channels, shielding connected devices against overheating, power spikes, and over-current scenarios.

Built for Safety & Reliability: IEC 62368-1 Standard Compliance

Safety remains paramount in any fixed electrical installation. The Schneider Unica X 45W USB Charger is built to meet and exceed international electrical safety standards, certified specifically under IEC 62368-1 (Audio/video, information, and communication technology equipment safety).

• Class II Electrical Insulation: Engineered with reinforced double insulation, ensuring maximum protection against electrical shock without requiring a dedicated functional earth connection for the charging unit itself.
• Energy-Efficient Operation: Operates efficiently on standard Malaysian mains supply (220-240V AC at 50/60Hz). When idle or under low loads, its optimized internal power management keeps standalone standby consumption capped at an efficient 7.5W max input draw, reducing passive vampire power draw.
• IP20 Ingress Protection: Designed for clean, dry indoor applications such as master bedrooms, living room TV feature walls, home offices, hotel guest rooms, commercial conference spaces, and high-end retail counters.

Seamless Flush-Mount Installation for Malaysian Properties

Designed as a flush-mount device, the Schneider Unica X NUX32ACQUSB_SS integrates into standard wall boxes, providing a clean, flat surface finish that sits nearly flush against drywall, concrete walling, or joinery panels. Whether you are upgrading an existing electrical wall point or specifying wiring accessories for a new construction project in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, or Johor Bahru, the Unica X range offers straightforward mounting compatibility for certified wiremen and electrical contractors.
