Schneider Unica X TV Socket Dark Bronze | NUX31TV_DB

Full Description:

The Schneider Unica X Series represents the pinnacle of modern wiring device innovation. In contemporary interior design, electrical switches and sockets are no longer viewed merely as functional utilities—they are integral design elements that contribute to the overall ambiance of a space. The Dark Bronze finish of model NUX31TV_DB offers a rich, muted metallic tone that complements modern industrial, transitional, and luxury interior concepts. Paired with natural stone walls, dark wood accents, or neutral minimalist feature walls, this socket creates a seamless, high-end visual continuity throughout any room.Crafted from premium stainless steel, the faceplate resists daily wear and tear, corrosion, and fingerprint smudges, ensuring it maintains its sophisticated look over years of continuous use. The slim, clean profile sits flush against the wall, reflecting the modern preference for minimalist architectural hardware.

Technical Performance & Signal Integrity

Beyond its striking appearance, the Schneider Unica X 1 Gang TV Socket Outlet is engineered for uncompromised technical performance.

• Impedance Rating (75Ω): Designed with a standard 75 Ohm impedance matching specification, this socket ensures optimal signal transfer impedance for television and coaxial cable feeds, preventing signal reflections, ghosting, or data loss.
• Frequency Range (5-860MHz): Covering a broad spectrum from 5 to 860 MHz, it efficiently handles standard terrestrial broadcast frequencies, cable television (CATV), and master antenna television (MATV) systems commonly deployed across residential and commercial developments in Malaysia.
• Single Gang Configuration: Features a streamlined 1 gang layout that fits standard Malaysian wall mounting boxes, making retrofits and new installations straightforward for licensed electricians.

Safety, Compliance, and Durability

Safety remains a foundational priority for Schneider Electric. The NUX31TV_DB is manufactured in strict compliance with IEC 60670-1 standards, governing general requirements for enclosures for electrical accessories in household and similar fixed electrical installations.

• IP20 Degree of Protection: Offers reliable protection against solid foreign objects greater than 12.5mm, making it safe for indoor residential and commercial applications.
• Robust Build Quality: The internal components are housed within durable, heat-resistant engineering plastics, while the outer stainless steel shell provides superior structural rigidity against accidental impacts.

Ideal Applications

• Residential Living Rooms & Bedrooms: Provide a clean, centralized connection point for smart TVs, decoders, and coaxial entertainment systems without unsightly loose cables.
• Hotels & Hospitality Suites: Elevate guest room aesthetics with coordinated luxury metallic finishes across switches, data outlets, and TV sockets.
• Commercial Offices & Boardrooms: Ensure reliable presentation and media display connectivity in meeting spaces requiring professional-grade wiring solutions.

Installation & Maintenance Best Practices

For optimal performance and safety, installation should always be carried out by a certified electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations set by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) of Malaysia. Ensure that coaxial cables are stripped correctly to maintain proper shielding and prevent signal interference. Routine maintenance requires only a soft, dry microfiber cloth to keep the stainless steel Dark Bronze surface pristine; avoid abrasive chemical cleaners that may damage the metallic finish.
