Schneider Unica X Cat6 RJ45 Socket Dark Bronze

The Schneider Unica X Series 1 Gang RJ45 Data Cat6 Socket with Shutters in Dark Bronze (Catalogue Number: NUX31RJ6_DB) is a premium, high-speed networking outlet designed for modern residential, commercial, and architectural interiors in Malaysia. Combining high-performance Cat6 data transmission rates with Schneider Electric's signature sleek aesthetics, this flush-mounted stainless steel socket features integrated protective shutters to block dust and debris. Ideal for high-speed fiber internet and structured cabling networks, it delivers reliable Gigabit connectivity while elevating interior design standards with its sophisticated dark bronze finish.

Full Description:

The demand for high-speed, reliable hardwired internet connectivity has never been higher across Malaysian homes, smart offices, commercial complexes, and hospitality projects. Wi-Fi remains convenient, but stability-critical environments—such as 4K video streaming hubs, gaming setups, work-from-home executive desks, and corporate enterprise workstations—depend heavily on robust physical network infrastructure. The Schneider Unica X Series 1 Gang RJ45 Data Cat6 Socket (NUX31RJ6_DB) bridges the gap between ultra-fast networking requirements and contemporary interior design.

Premium Aesthetics and Finish

Interior designers and property owners increasingly prioritize electrical and networking accessories that complement modern minimalist, industrial, or luxury interior themes. The Unica X Series stands out with its striking Dark Bronze color tint and premium stainless steel material construction. Unlike standard plastic white sockets that yellow over time, the dark bronze metal finish provides a sophisticated, tactile matte or metallic look that blends seamlessly with dark wood paneling, exposed brick, luxury wallpaper, or contemporary neutral walls.

Unmatched Network Performance (Cat6 Standard)

Engineering-wise, this unit is built around a high-performance RJ45 Cat.6 data socket module. Category 6 (Cat6) cabling standards support Gigabit Ethernet speeds (up to 1000 Mbps or 1 Gbps) and can support frequencies up to 250 MHz over shorter channel lengths. This ensures lower crosstalk, minimal signal interference, and significantly faster data transfer rates compared to legacy Cat5e sockets. Whether you are connecting smart TVs, desktop computers, network switches, Network Attached Storage (NAS) drives, or enterprise VoIP conference phones, this data socket guarantees stable, low-latency wired connections.

Enhanced Durability and Safety Features

Dust accumulation in unused data ports is a primary cause of intermittent connection failures and port degradation in tropical climates like Malaysia. The NUX31RJ6 module features integrated protective shutters that automatically seal the RJ45 port when the patch cable is unplugged. This keeps dust, moisture, and foreign particles out of the gold-plated contacts. Furthermore, the unit is built to stringent international safety and quality benchmarks, complying fully with IEC 60670-1 standards. With an IP20 degree of protection, it is engineered for indoor flush-mounted wall installations.

Installation and Compatibility

Designed for professional electricians, contractors, and interior renovators, the Unica X series fits standard flush mounting wall boxes used in Malaysian residential and commercial wiring standards. Its modular design allows for clean multi-gang configurations when paired with light switches, USB chargers, or TV outlets from the same Unica X range, creating a uniform, high-end look across entire building projects.
