Schneider Unica X RJ45 Data Socket Dark Bronze

The Schneider Unica X Series 2 Gang RJ45 Data Socket with Shutters in Dark Bronze (NUX32RJ6_DB) merges high-speed Cat6 network performance with premium interior aesthetics. Engineered for modern residential, commercial, and hospitality environments in Malaysia, this flush-mounted data outlet features protective shutters and a durable stainless steel frame finished in a sophisticated dark bronze tone. Compliant with international IEC standards, it delivers reliable gigabit connectivity while complementing contemporary minimalist, industrial, and luxury architectural designs.

Full Description:

Modern smart homes and high-performance offices demand network infrastructure that matches interior design standards without compromising on speed or reliability. The Schneider Unica X Series 2 Gang RJ45 Data Socket (Catalogue Number: NUX32RJ6_DB) meets these requirements by blending advanced Cat6 networking architecture with a striking Dark Bronze finish. As part of Schneider Electric's design-forward Unica X range, this data socket acts as a crucial termination point for high-speed internet, Local Area Networks (LAN), and IP-based smart home automation devices.

Design, Aesthetics, and Material Quality

Interior design trends across Malaysia heavily favor matte, dark, and metallic architectural accents. The Dark Bronze color tint on a robust stainless steel substrate provides a sleek, premium faceplate that resists fingerprint smudges and blends seamlessly with dark wood paneling, stone finishes, and contemporary wall textures. Designed for flush-mounted installation, it sits flush against the wall surface, eliminating unsightly gaps and delivering the clean lines expected in luxury condominiums, corporate boardrooms, and boutique hotels.

Technical Performance and Connectivity

At the core of the NUX32RJ6_DB is a high-performance RJ45 Cat6 data socket module. Cat6 infrastructure supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds (up to 1 Gbps and beyond over shorter distances) with reduced cross-talk and system noise, making it ideal for bandwidth-heavy applications such as 4K/8K video streaming, online gaming, VoIP telephony, and seamless Wi-Fi router backhauls.Furthermore, the integrated shutters play a vital role in tropical environments like Malaysia. These mechanical shutters automatically seal the port when the patch cord is disconnected, preventing dust, moisture, and small debris accumulation that can degrade signal integrity over time.

Safety, Compliance, and Installation

Safety and standardization remain paramount for electrical and low-voltage wiring installations. The Schneider Unica X data socket complies strictly with IEC 60670-1 standards, ensuring electrical box safety and mechanical endurance. With an IP20 degree of protection, it is optimized for indoor wall installations. Professional electricians favor the Unica X range for its intuitive flush-mounting mechanism, which speeds up on-site installation timelines while ensuring secure terminal retention.

Ideal Applications

Smart Homes & High-End Residential: Connecting wired smart home hubs, mesh Wi-Fi access points, and smart TVs with zero latency.
Corporate Offices & Co-working Spaces: Delivering reliable desk-level ethernet ports that complement modern interior aesthetics.
Hospitality: Hotel guest rooms requiring high-speed data access points packaged in luxurious hardware finishes.
