Full Description:

Modern Architectural Aesthetics & Surface-Mounted Convenience

The WELLMAX LED Surface Downlight (Athena Series) Square 6W (MPN: UDS/AT/0/1/0/SQ) is engineered to upgrade modern indoor lighting across homes and commercial environments in Malaysia. Designed specifically for concrete ceilings, solid structures, or plaster boards where cutting recessed ceiling holes is impractical or impossible, this surface-mounted square downlight installs flush against the ceiling surface. Measuring a compact 122mm × 122mm with a sleek 40.5mm profile, its clean-lined geometric profile integrates into contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, walkways, retail displays, and office corridors.

Superior Luminous Efficiency & Energy Savings

Despite drawing only 6W of power, the Athena Series square surface downlight generates a bright 600 lumens of light flux, achieving a high efficacy rating of 100lm/W. This energy performance enables property owners and interior designers to maintain optimal brightness while significantly lowering monthly electricity costs compared to legacy fluorescent or halogen fixtures. Featuring a stable power factor of 0.5 and wide input voltage compatibility (100–240V / 220–240V at 50/60Hz), this surface fixture guarantees smooth, consistent operation even during minor power fluctuations in urban and suburban electrical grids.

Advanced Eye-Care Technology: Anti-Glare & Non-Flicker

Equipped with specialized optic lenses and diffusion layers, the WELLMAX Athena Series incorporates active non-flicker technology that eliminates invisible light strobing. Strobe-free illumination helps reduce headaches, eye fatigue, and visual discomfort caused by prolonged exposure to lower-grade LED drivers. Combined with an anti-glare finish, the fixture diffuses output evenly across a wide 120° beam angle. Furthermore, certified with Photobiological Safety Rating: Risk 0 (RG0), this lamp releases zero harmful blue light optical risks, making it safe for homes with children, study zones, reading rooms, and workstation environments.

High Color Rendering & Customizable Color Temperatures

With a Color Rendering Index (CRI) exceeding 80 (CRI >80), the WELLMAX Athena 6W downlight reproduces natural colors accurately, ensuring wall paints, furniture, decor, and retail merchandise look vivid and true to life. To accommodate varied ambiance requirements, the light fixture is available in three distinct Correlated Color Temperatures (CCT):

3000K Warm White: Creates a cozy, relaxing atmosphere suited for bedrooms, dining areas, hotels, and lounges.
4000K Cool White: Delivers balanced, neutral illumination ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, study desks, and retail stores.
6500K Daylight: Offers crisp, bright, high-clarity visibility essential for home offices, commercial workspaces, corridors, and task lighting.

Durable Build Quality & Extended Product Lifespan

Engineered for long-term operational durability, the WELLMAX Athena Series square downlight offers a operational lifespan of up to 25,000 hours along with more than 15,000 switching cycles. This longevity dramatically minimizes maintenance frequency and replacement expenses in high-use areas. Rated IP20 for indoor dust protection, it performs reliably across an operating temperature range of -20°C to 40°C, making it well-suited for Malaysia's tropical indoor climate.
