Q1: What is the Schneider AvatarOn C 2G Momentary Switch used for?
A: The Schneider AvatarOn C 2G Momentary Switch (E8732PRF_WG) is used for electrical circuits that require a temporary signal pulse rather than a constant ON/OFF connection. Common applications include doorbells, smart home pulse inputs, external relays, and specialized lighting automation controllers.
Q2: What is the difference between a momentary switch and a standard switch?
A: A standard wall switch locks into position (ON or OFF) when pressed. A momentary switch returns to its original default position immediately after you release the button, sending only a brief electrical signal while pressed.
Q3: How does the fluorescent locator work on the Schneider E8732PRF_WG switch?
A: The fluorescent locator absorbs surrounding light during the day or when room lights are on, allowing it to emit a soft, gentle glow in complete darkness. This helps users find the switch at night without consuming extra electrical power.
Q4: Can I use this Schneider Wine Gold switch for smart home wiring in Malaysia?
A: Yes, momentary switches are frequently used as physical push-button inputs for smart home relays, dry-contact automation modules, and smart switch controllers used in modern Malaysian homes.
Q5: What is the voltage and current rating for Schneider AvatarOn C E8732PRF_WG?
A: The switch is rated at 10A current capacity at 250V AC (50/60 Hz), making it fully compatible with Malaysia's standard single-phase residential and commercial electrical systems.
Q6: Is the Schneider AvatarOn C E8732PRF_WG switch suitable for flush mounting?
A: Yes, the Schneider AvatarOn C 2 Gang Momentary Switch supports both flush mounting inside concealed wall boxes and surface mounting using external mounting enclosures.

A:An IP20 protection rating means the switch is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm (such as fingers). It is designed specifically for dry indoor environments like living rooms, bedrooms, and commercial spaces.
Q8: Can a 2-gang momentary switch operate two separate devices?
A: Yes, because it features 2 independent rockers, you can control two distinct momentary circuits (e.g., two different doorbells or two separate automation input channels) from a single unit.
Q9: Where can I buy genuine Schneider AvatarOn C switches in Malaysia?
A: Genuine Schneider Electric switches can be purchased through authorized electrical supply distributors, lighting stores, and official online storefronts across Malaysia.
