Brand: PMW
PMW 2ft Double T8 Reflector Fitting VER220T8
The PMW LED T8 Tube (VEGAS REFLECTOR Series) VER220T8 is a commercial-grade Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector (FAR) fitting designed to maximize light efficiency and directional output for 2-tube 2ft (610mm) T8 LED tubes. Engineered with a durable cold-rolled steel body and an IP20 protection rating, this dual-tube reflector fixture provides focused, glare-reduced light distribution for retail displays, hypermarkets, industrial workstations, and commercial spaces across Malaysia. (Note: Reflector fitting only; LED tubes sold separately).
Full Description:
High-Efficiency Direct Illumination with Mirror Technology
When standard bare-channel T8 fittings are used, a significant portion of light is lost upwards toward the ceiling. The PMW VEGAS REFLECTOR Series (VER220T8) solves this issue through its integrated Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector (FAR). Fabricated with high-grade anodized mirror-finish aluminium, the reflector redirects upward lumens straight down to the task zone, increasing usable lux output without increasing electricity costs.Whether you are lighting up product aisles in retail environments, assembly lines in manufacturing facilities, or task benches in commercial workshops, the specular reflection provides maximum visibility with enhanced optical clarity.
Dual-Tube (2x T8 2ft) Surface-Mounted Design
The VER220T8 model is purpose-built to hold two 2ft (610mm) T8 LED tubes in parallel. Featuring an expanded reflector base width (W1) of 210mm and an overall height (H1) of 87mm, it delivers a wide, uniform beam pattern ideal for low-to-mid ceiling heights requiring dual-lamp brightness. Its standard 610mm length ensures broad compatibility with standard 2-foot T8 LED tubes available in the Malaysian market.Commercial-Grade Cold-Rolled Steel Construction
Built for durability and long operational lifespans in demanding commercial spaces, the chassis of the PMW VEGAS fitting is manufactured from premium cold-rolled steel. Cold rolling gives the fixture superior structural integrity, preventing bowing, warping, or sagging over time—even under continuous thermal loads. The clean white powder-coated base channel offers high corrosion resistance and seamlessly integrates into modern ceiling setups.Indoor Reliability & Compact Profile (IP20 Rated)
Carrying an IP20 ingress protection rating, this fixture is engineered to guard internal connections against solid foreign objects while providing safe, continuous operation in dry indoor spaces. The streamlined dimensions (Base Width: 50mm, Base Height: 37mm) ensure a low-profile installation that remains visually unobtrusive while delivering heavy-duty optical performance.Key Applications
- Retail & Supermarkets: Directs focused light down onto gondolas, product shelves, and end-cap displays to enhance product presentation.
- Industrial & Warehousing: Ideal for packing stations, quality-control desks, and assembly lines requiring direct task lighting.
- Commercial Offices & Workshops: Provides anti-glare downlighting for technical work areas and utility rooms.

Q1: What is the PMW VEGAS VER220T8 Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector designed for?
A: The PMW VEGAS VER220T8 is a dual-tube 2ft (610mm) LED fitting featuring a Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector (FAR).
Q2: How many LED tubes fit inside the PMW VER220T8 casing?
A: This model is engineered with a 2-tube capacity, holding two 2ft T8 LED tubes side-by-side within its 210mm total width casing.
Q3: What is the advantage of a Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector (FAR) over a standard bare casing?
A: A Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector utilizes highly reflective mirror-finish aluminium to redirect wasted upward light downward toward the target surface. This increases usable floor/task brightness by up to 30-40% compared to bare channel fittings.
Q4: Is the PMW VEGAS VER220T8 fitting suitable for outdoor use?
A: No. The PMW VER220T8 has an IP20 rating, which makes it suitable only for dry indoor environments like offices, stores, and warehouses.
Q5: What material is used to construct the PMW VER220T8 body?
A: The base channel body is constructed from high-quality cold-rolled steel, providing rigidity, heat tolerance, and protection against warping.
Q6: What are the exact dimensions of the PMW VER220T8 2ft reflector fitting?
A: The fitting measures 610mm in length, with a 50mm base width, 37mm base height, 210mm total reflector width, and 87mm total height.
Q7: Can I install this PMW T8 reflector casing on commercial ceilings in Malaysia?
A: Yes, the PMW VEGAS series is designed for surface-mounted installation on concrete ceilings, plaster ceilings, or trunking systems commonly used in Malaysian commercial and industrial premises.
Q8: What is the difference between an Angle Reflector (AAR) and a Full Mirror Reflector (FAR)?
A: An Angle Reflector directs light sideways at an angle (ideal for wall washing or perimeter lighting), whereas a Full Aluminium Mirror Reflector (FAR) directs light straight down symmetrically for even surface illumination.
Q9: Where can I buy PMW T8 LED tube reflector casings in Malaysia?
A: PMW T8 LED fittings and reflector casings are distributed through authorized electrical wholesalers, lighting suppliers, and specialized commercial B2B lighting distributors in Malaysia.
