PMW VEGAS 2ft T8 Angle Reflector Fitting (VER120T8)
The PMW VEGAS Reflector Series VER120T8 (Product Code: 01.VEAMR120T8.00) is an industrial-grade, 2ft single-tube (1xTLED) bare channel lighting fitting equipped with a specialized Angle Metal Reflector (AMR). Constructed from cold-rolled steel and rated IP20, this fixture provides directional light throw, making it ideal for retail shelf displays, warehouse aisles, wall-washing applications, and commercial task zones across Malaysia. (Note: Fits 1x 2ft T8 LED tube; tube and light source sold separately).
Full Description:
The PMW VEGAS Reflector Series T8 LED Casing with Angle Metal Reflector (Model: VER120T8) is designed to meet demanding commercial and industrial lighting requirements in Malaysia. When uniform ambient lighting falls short, directional optical control becomes essential. Built around a durable cold-rolled steel base channel, this 2ft single-tube fitting (610mm length) directs light output precisely where needed, reducing wasted light spill and enhancing task visibility.
Precision Asymmetric & Angled Illumination
Equipped with an asymmetric Angle Metal Reflector (AMR), the VER120T8 shifts light output outward at a targeted angle. This makes it effective for:- Retail & Supermarket Shelving: Directing illumination down product racks to keep merchandise visible from top to bottom.
- Wall Washing & Displays: Illuminating perimeter walls, directional signage, or display boards without glare.
- Machine & Task Lighting: Casting glare-free light onto targeted industrial work benches, assembly lines, and packing stations.
Engineered for Durability & Easy Maintenance
Manufactured from high-grade cold-rolled steel, the base body and cover plate provide structural stability and heat resistance. The rigid frame resists twisting and bowing during installation, ensuring alignment across continuous-row ceiling or wall mounts. Featuring a low-profile base width of 50mm and height of 37mm, expanding to an overall width of 125mm and height of 79mm with the reflector attached, the fixture remains unobtrusive while delivering effective light coverage.Flexible T8 LED Compatibility
The PMW VEGAS VER120T8 accepts standard single-ended or double-ended direct-wire 2ft (610mm) T8 LED tubes. Buying the fixture housing separately gives electrical contractors, facility managers, and business owners full flexibility to choose their preferred T8 LED tube wattage, lumen output, and color temperature (6500K Daylight, 4000K Cool White, or 3000K Warm White). Replacing failed LED tubes is quick and tool-free, minimizing long-term maintenance costs compared to integrated LED fixtures.
Typical Applications
Suitable for indoor dry location applications (IP20), including:- Industrial Warehouses & Logistics Hubs
- Retail Outlets, Hypermarkets & Supermarkets
- Manufacturing Facilities & Assembly Lines
- Commercial Offices & Showrooms
- Cove & Perimeter Display Lighting

Q1: What is the difference between an Angle Metal Reflector (AMR) and a Full Metal Reflector (FMR)?
A:An Angle Metal Reflector (AMR) directs light sideways at a specific angle for wall-washing, perimeter lighting, or rack displays.
Q2: Does the PMW VEGAS VER120T8 casing include the LED T8 tube?
A: No. Model 01.VEAMR120T8.00 is supplied as the reflector casing/fitting only. This allows you to choose your preferred 2ft T8 LED Tube Brand, Color temperature, and wattage.
Q3: Can the PMW VEGAS VER120T8 be used outdoors or in wet environments?
A: No. This fitting carries an IP20 ingress protection rating, meaning it is designed strictly for indoor, dry environments like warehouses, retail shops, offices, and factories.
Q4: What size LED tube fits into the PMW VER120T8 fitting?
A:The VER120T8 is built specifically for 1 x 2ft (610mm) T8 LED tube. For 4ft lighting setups, the 1220mm variant (VER140T8) is required.
Q5: Why choose cold-rolled steel over plastic or standard aluminum T8 casings?
A:Cold-rolled steel offers superior structural rigidity, dimensional stability, and impact resistance, preventing sagging or warping in commercial and industrial settings.
Q6: How does an angle reflector improve lighting efficiency in retail stores?
A: Standard bare T8 lights scatter light in a 360-degree spread, causing glare and wasted output. An angle reflector bounces spill light directly onto display racks and walls, improving vertical lux levels without increasing electricity costs.
Q7: Is the PMW VEGAS VER120T8 suitable for surface mounting or suspension?
A: Yes. The slim cold-rolled steel base channel (50mm wide x 37mm high) is designed for direct surface mounting onto ceilings and walls, or suspended via wire kits for lower-hanging application setups.
Q8: Where can I buy PMW VEGAS LED fittings in Malaysia?
A: PMW VEGAS T8 reflector fittings are distributed through authorized electrical supply wholesalers, lighting contractors, and online commercial hardware stores across Malaysia.
Q9: How do I install the PMW VEGAS 2ft angle reflector fitting?
A: Mount the cold-rolled steel bare channel onto the surface or suspension wire, connect direct AC wiring to the terminal block, clip on the angle metal reflector attachment, and insert a standard 2ft T8 LED tube.
