Full Description:

Premium Modern Aesthetics & Ergonomic Design

The Schneider Electric Vivace series represents a refined balance between modern aesthetics and practical functionality. Inspired by geometrically balanced design principles, the KB31RJ6_AS model features a ultra-slim profile measuring 86mm x 86mm with a minimal projecting depth of just 8mm. The premium Aluminium Silver metallic tint provides a sleek, modern finish that elevates modern interior design schemes in luxury apartments, corporate offices, smart homes, and commercial buildings.Unlike conventional white plastic switch plates, the metallic silver finish resists discoloration and fingerprint smudges, making it an ideal choice for high-visibility wall spaces, executive boardrooms, and gaming setups across Malaysia.

High-Performance Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity

Engineered specifically for high-bandwidth data transmission, this 1 Gang Category 6 Data Socket utilizes an M-110 keystone RJ45 connector. Designed to meet rigorous international FCC standards, it supports Category 6 copper networking infrastructure, delivering reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections with reduced crosstalk and signal interference.Whether you are configuring high-speed fibre broadband networks, IP security camera systems, smart TV streaming hubs, or low-latency LAN gaming stations, the KB31RJ6_AS guarantees stable signal integrity and minimal data dropouts.

Built-in Dust Shutter Protection

Internal electrical and networking components are vulnerable to fine dust, humidity, and atmospheric particulate accumulation—common issues in tropical climates like Malaysia. The Schneider Vivace KB31RJ6_AS addresses this challenge with a spring-loaded internal shutter mechanism built directly into the faceplate cover. The shutter automatically seals the internal RJ45 keystone port when no Ethernet cable is plugged in. This prevents dust ingress, foreign object insertion, and accidental pin oxidation, drastically extending the service life of both the wall outlet and your patch cables.

Flame-Retardant Polycarbonate Construction

Crafted with high-grade, impact-resistant polycarbonate material for its grid plate, surround frame, and structural base, this data socket is built to withstand high fatigue and mechanical stress. Polycarbonate offers superior thermal resistance, flame retardancy, and electrical insulation properties, providing safety and peace of mind.

Standard Malaysian Installation Compatibility

Designed to comply with standard Malaysian building and wiring specifications, the unit supports flush wall mounting. It installs into standard BS 4662 flush metal or plastic backboxes with an embedding depth of 35mm and standard 60.3mm fixing centers using M3.5 screws.
